Chapter 1.40 Lazy Friday

Even though Alyssa was trying to be popular, it didn't break her love of science.

It took her mind away from things, and it honestly helped. She wanted some peace, and a little alone time. Besides, she needed at least a few hours away from all the school drama and the problem with this 'Lola'. She remembered the doll, of course she did.

She grinned at the memories she had of Lola. She remembered so vividly of how she used to love that doll. But one day, on her birthday, Lola wasn't there anymore. It was as if she disappeared. Then all the mess with Rosie and that fairy came along and Alyssa forgot about Lola, until now that is.

Alyssa dismissed the thoughts of Lola. She didn't exactly want to think of the precious toy she lost. Instead, she should think of now, and about school. Even though she had the day off today, but she was fairly unsure of what to do.

Most popular girls go out and see their friends at the weekend, but she wasn't sure if she could be bothered. So, she decided to spend the day in her 'Science Room' (Which used to be Rosie's bedroom). There was the machine she was using now in here, and a chemistry table and a chess table. She wanted to stay clever, even while trying to be popular.

Alyssa went down to the basement after her little science research was over. She was trying to grow plants, and see the effect of artificial light and how much it helps plants compared to real sunlight. Hence why her little experiment was going on in the basement. (That, and Thomas and Erin wouldn't be too happy with plants in the house), and also the ever changing seasons made it difficult to grow plants outside.

Alyssa's little gardening project hasn't been going on for all too long, which means that her plants weren't all that big right now. But soon enough they will be, and that meant she could further practice her research using the science machine. It did have another name but it was far too long and complex to remember.
Then, her phone started ringing. It was Nora. Alyssa answered it, but didn't have all too much time to talk.
"Hey, Ginge. Meet me and Col at the beach, bikini on. A few more hours catching rays, then we're going out clubbing. You in? Great, ta." And with that she hung up again. Alyssa rolled her eyes, and then went to go meet her friends, with the little instructions she got.

The sun was already setting when Alyssa got to the beach, but it was still warm thanks to it being summer. She saw Colette and Nora sunbathing and went over to them. "Hey." She smiled.
"Where's your bikini?" Colette murmured, half opening an eye to glance at her.
"Underneath, I'm not going to walk around in my bikini." She thought that was an obvious thing, but apparently not.
"Why not?" Nora asked. "Anyway, you can't tan in normal clothes." She murmured.

So, Alyssa got changed into her bikini and laid down on the sand. "Where we going clubbing?" She asked. "Waylon's Bar again?"
Nora rolled her eyes "That's where we go on school days, but because everyone has today off, and because its Friday Night, we're going out dancing." She grinned.
"We're going to this new and exclusive club. Its called The Grind." Colette explained, grinning. "Lulu's gonna be there."
"Lulu?" Alyssa asked.

"Tallulah, remember? We mentioned her when you were sh*t face drunk." Nora went over, grinning.
"I remember you said who Tallulah was. She left a while ago, didn't she?" Alyssa asked, trying to recall her story.
"You ask a lot of questions." Colette commented, staying on her front. "Lulu left almost a year ago now. All three of us were best friends. She used to be a lot like you actually." She grinned, "You're our new Lulu."
Nora scoffed "Like Alyssa could be the new Tallulah." She rolled her eyes, but Alyssa was more amazed that she didn't come up with a nickname based on her hair colour.

"And why not?" Alyssa asked, not like she would ever want to be like this Tallulah, but still.
"Because Dear Carrot Top." Nora grinned, with another new stupid nickname for Alyssa. "Tallulah was the ultimate party girl." She smirked. "Not like you with your 'first drink when your a teen' thing."
"Is that it?" She asked, wondering what the big deal was with her if that was it.
"That, and she was the best b**ch ever." She grinned. "She once made a girl dress the exact same as her, and then managed to criticize her outfit, and made the girl apologize. I've really missed her."

"Lulu last years left right before prom, which was weird because it was all she could talk about, and she was second in line to be queen." Colette murmured. "She pretty much left without a trace to be found. She didn't answer her phone, and we only know she's back because she texted Nora again this morning."
"Huh..." Alyssa mumbled. "So, she's exactly like you guys?"
"Nuh uh. She makes us look like saints." Colette laughed. "That, and she's kinda gothic and punk-ish. Which is odd for a popular girl but, there you go." She shrugged. "Anyway, meet at The Grind at nine. Don't be late."

After Alyssa got changed into a very small, tight red dress, she was about to head out to the club. It was kinda far away, so she didn't want to be late. She half smiled at the flowers on her dresser, and was about to leave until she heard her mom say,
"And just where do you think you're going while dressed like that?"

Alyssa almost had a heart attack hearing her mother's voice. She didn't know how, but she was amazing at sneaking up on her. "Mom! You scared me." She frowned.
"And you're too young to be wearing that dress." She folded her arms. "Where exactly are you going?" She asked.
"Clubbing." She responded simply.

"Clubbing?" Erin asked, more shocked than anything.
"There's this new place called The Grind. Me and my friends are going there." It was Alyssa's turn to fold her arms.
"I'm not too comfortable with you going out there Lyss." She frowned, tilting her head a little.
"What's the worst that could happen?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

Erin could think of a lot of things that could go wrong, based on those wrong things nearly happened to her when she lived in the city when she was younger. She sighed "Don't take any drinks from strangers, don't dance too close to boys, and if anyone makes you uncomfortable, walk away." She spoke sternly, and Alyssa could tell her mom was serious.
"Anything else?" She asked.
"Two more things, don't stay out too late. I know its Saturday tomorrow, but I don't want you out too long. Lastly..." A grin crept up on to Erin's face "Don't tell your dad that I allowed you."
She laughed "Okay, Mom. I won't snitch on you to dad." She grinned.

When Alyssa walked into the club, she was almost taken back by the amount of smoke there was. She could hardly see anyone's legs! But at least she managed to spot her friends, and it wasn't busy at all to say it was a Friday night. It was probably because if anyone did ever go clubbing, they wouldn't come here. She managed to spot Colette and Nora though, and went over to them.

While Colette went off to get drinks, Alyssa couldn't help but ask "So, where actually is this Tallulah?" She raised an eyebrow, only seeing Nora in front of her right now.
"The Party Queen as she calls herself is up on the table." She grinned, and Alyssa turned to see someone dancing up on the table.

"Uh... Hey." Alyssa tried to introduce herself, even though she was more talking to this girl's behind. "I'm Alyssa, I'm Colette and Nora's friend." She half smiled. "You're Tallulah, right?"
Then, Tallulah got down off the table, and spoke to Alyssa.

Tallulah grinned at her, "Tallulah's the name, and dancin's the game." She laughed, "I like your dress, where did you get it?" She asked.
Alyssa was honestly a little confused, she had heard that this girl was the queen of all b**ches, but this girl seemed really nice. "Uh... Thanks? I can't remember where I got it..."
She pouted, "Aw, Shame. Anyway, you wanna go somewhere more fun?" She grinned. "This place is kinda suckish." She frowned.

"Sure, I'll go tell Nora and Colette." She half smiled, and was about to walk off when Tallulah started laughing.
"Those two lesbians? Nuh uh. I want to get to know you, forget about those two." She grinned. "Come on, we're gonna go on a boy hunt." She smirked, and with that, both girls went to a different bar, on a 'boy hunt'.

AN: For any of you with a keen eye, you may notice where I stole 'Tallulah' from. If not, I got her from the Mattel Random Legacy. Tallulah was from generation three on that blog (Her real name is Madison) , and I made her over and gave her a more punk-ish look.

This chapter was fun to do, apart from no one came to the club, and the ones who did were fairly old... I'm going to be prepared for the next one though! *Goes off and finds as many cute guy sims as I can*

  1. I'm happy that Alyssa is still sticking to her own interests despite wanting to fit in and be popular. That's always a good thing. And I'm interested in Tallulah. She seems different from Alyssa's other two friends, but at the same time I still get the feeling she's going to be a bad influence on Alyssa...

    1. Alyssa won't give up on her science just yet, she has too many interests to give up on.

Tallulah is different from the other two girls, she isn't as nice but she's one of those girls who's nice when she's with her friends. Whether she's a good influence or not...

  2. I thought Tallulah looked familiar!

Oh, Alyssa. Just stick to science! Ignore these bizzles. I am interested in Tallulah, though. I really am hoping she's a terribly mean girl, because that'll make life interesting for Alyssa. I also can't wait to hear more about Lola, since she's not related to Elli in any way.

    1. I was almost scared to make Madison/Tallulah over, I was worried about making her look too different and unrecognizable.

She's won't just stick to science, she'll still talk to the bizzles. You'll see Tallulah again in the next chapter, in their little boy hunt. And we'll meet Lola soon.

  3. Lol! I thought it was Taylor, not Madison at first! I think it was the darker hair.

Oh, Alyssa. Being someone you're not isn't going to make you happy sweetheart. Be happy being you and ignore those two idiots. So just what kind of trouble will Lulu get Alyssa into I wonder.

And I keep double taking when reading Lulu since we call our daughter that when she's being a handful.

So is Lola going to show up again?

    1. Yeah... I kinda gothisized her up. Hah, I hope Gemma won't be angry after seeing what I've done. (She kinda scares me)

At least she's doing more of what she loves and isn't being as much of a lap dog. Lulu may get Alyssa into some trouble, but it'll be interesting trouble.

My mum used to call me Lulu! I don't know why because my name is Olivia, but there you go. I remember my best friend got so confused when she heard my mum call me Lulu (Her name is Lucy so it actually makes sense) Ah, I'm rambling.

Lola's gonna show up soon, I promise.

    1. Alyssa's not giving up on the things she loves, no b*tch in the world can make her give up on her science, as for Tallulah being a bad influence....

  5. It's good to see Alyssa's still interested in science. And Nora and Colette aren't really good at beeing populare are they? Can't even find a good club for them.
I was so sure, Lulu and Lola were the same one.
Good luck boyhunting Alyssa, don't get to eager :)

    1. Yeah, Colette and Nora aren't all that good, based on the fact they were ditched by Alyssa and Lulu. They're only good at being mean. And the club thing was kinda my fault... Not many people in Dragon Valley are very 'club-ish'.
Lola and Lulu aren't the same person, I'll assure you of that.

  6. Heheheeee!! Tallulah is SO different to Madi haha. Love it. Love how you changed everything about her but kept her hairstyle. I can't imagine her with different hairstyle! She had that her whole life!
    Anyway...

Oh Alyssa... She's definately in with the wrong crowd, and I'm just waiting for something awful to happen... :| Maybe the other two were wrong about Tallulah and she can be a good friend, but based on their description of her I kinda doubt it.

    1. Maybe its because I de-fairyized her? I kept on her eyeshadow and kept her facial features the same. I thought I should keep the hair so she was at least recognizable I just changed to black and red with a bit of purple.

Yeah, she kinda is. But nothing too bad has happened so far to her. I plan on Tallulah sticking around longer than Colette and Nora at least.

  7. LOL @ her being all into science, but not being bothered to remember the name of 'the science machine'.

Hehe, Erin 'sneaking up' on her. I wonder if Alyssa will inherit the teleporting too?

    1. It doesn't matter if you remember the names, all that matters is that you know how to use it without blowing off your eyebrows xD

I'll give you a small spoiler by saying that Alyssa isn't a teleporter, sadly. She inherited her dad's hair colour and boring mortality
